Audi B5 RS4 | Bosch EV14 750cc Injectors | 25/09/11

In order to keep the fuelling nice and safe with the power targets I'm aiming for it's necessary to fit some larger injectors. Whilst I've heard some good things about Seimens 630cc injectors it does seem the default option for fitting "bigger injectors" to the B5 RS4 is to go with the Bosch EV14 with a 750cc rating. It took me a while to figure out that there is no "off the shelf" part number for the 750cc EV14's as they are either modified by the resellers offering them or a main supplier is modding them and distributing to the resellers. Either way, despite the obvious part number on the injectors (0280 158 040) that does not equate to a 750cc injector.

Thankfully one of my contacts knows where to get them from and sorted me out with a set. They don't look like much, in fact they are really small compared to most injectors (the B5 RS4 taking a compact fitment) so in another way I'm glad I got them for a cracking price rather then what most resellers charge!

Fitting them is a pretty straight forward job (and I'll document that of course) but the car will then be undrivable without a suitable map, fortunately I've already got that covered so when the time comes I'll be able to drive the car to have it mapped fully.
